A Manteca Residence Before. As in the case of most new residences, there is no welcoming approach to the front entry.

A new walkway bordered by brick planters is added

The brick planters have been backfilled and planted

The new walkway gives direct access to the front door and the planters and plant materials now add curb appeal.

An overgrown Stockton residence hiding the architectural features of the home.

The trees planted too close to the house were removed and a new walkway leading to the side yard was added.

A planter was added next to the walkway and a cross fence and gate were built to add privacy to the side yard.

This photo of the completed landscape demonstrates form and function and the young tree in the planter will lend balance to the whole design.

Another Manteca residence before.

This corner planter extends the stone work on the house.

Both lower corners of the driveway were given small planter areas combining moss rock, cobble stone and plant materials.

The addition of a mow curb, stone faced columns with wrought iron fence to define the property line and complimenting plant materials bring a whole new look to this front yard.

This is another Manteca residence with no easy path to the front door.

A new front walkway was added with lights in the steps for night time safety. A more direct approach from the street.

The circular wall encloses the front entry courtyard and mimics the turret at the front door.

The architectural elements of the house have been brought toward the street. The wall on the right hides a walkway to the gate on the side to the back yard.

A Ripon, CA residence, recently renovated inside but now lacks curb appeal on the outside. Some construction work had begun before the landscape design was begun.

A view from the driveway to the entry walk. The planter to the right now has a dwarf Japanese maple, Japanese forest grass and some Rhododendrons to add color.

Looking from the front entry walk to the side a number of the original plantings were retained with the exception of some flowering shrubs not yet in bloom.

Removing the hedges on the sides of the front entry and adding moss rock and cobble softened by more colorful plant materials has given this home much needed exterior appeal.
